THE MOTHER PATTERN

The Flower of Life

Within this single pattern of overlapping circles lies every geometric form that has ever existed or will ever exist. It is the womb of mathematics. The seed of all creation.

✦ What Is the Flower of Life?

The Flower of Life is a geometric figure composed of 19 overlapping circles of equal radius, arranged in sixfold symmetry to form a flower-like pattern. Though it appears simple, this pattern contains within itself every single geometric form known to mathematics — from the Platonic Solids to the Golden Ratio, from Metatron's Cube to the Tree of Life.

It is not merely a symbol — it is a matrix. A template from which all other sacred geometric forms can be derived. Leonardo da Vinci studied it obsessively, filling pages of his notebooks with its proportions. Modern physicists have discovered that the atomic structure of certain crystals mirrors its pattern exactly. Ancient civilizations carved it into temples on every continent — often separated by thousands of years and thousands of miles — with no known contact between them.

How did cultures that never met produce the same pattern? Because they all observed the same source: the geometry of nature itself.

THE LAYERS

What Lives Inside the Flower

The Seed of Life

Seven circles — the first form that emerges from the Flower. Represents the seven days of Genesis, the seven chakras, the seven notes of the musical scale. The seed from which all geometry grows.

🥚

The Egg of Life

Eight spheres forming the embryonic pattern of multicellular life. This is the exact geometric form a human embryo takes at its 8-cell stage — perfectly replicated by cells dividing for the first time.

🍎

The Fruit of Life

Thirteen circles extracted from the Flower. When you connect the centers of these 13 circles with straight lines, something extraordinary appears: Metatron's Cube — the key to all five Platonic Solids.

🌳

The Tree of Life

The Kabbalistic Tree of Life — the map of creation in Jewish mysticism — fits perfectly over the Flower of Life. Its ten sephiroth and twenty-two paths align precisely with the circles and intersections of the Flower. This is not a coincidence.

Metatron's Cube

Connect the thirteen centers of the Fruit of Life and you generate Metatron's Cube — a figure that contains every Platonic Solid: the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron. The building blocks of physical reality, hidden inside a pattern of circles.

ACROSS TIME

Where It Has Been Found

🏛️
Temple of Osiris, Egypt

Carved into granite at the Abydos temple — estimated 6,000+ years old. Some researchers believe it predates the temple itself.

🇮🇳
Indian Temples

Found throughout Hindu and Jain temples. Called "The Fisherman's Net" in Sanskrit — the web that holds all of creation.

🇨🇳
Chinese Forbidden City

Carved beneath the paw of the guardian lion at the Palace gates. Symbolizes the geometric law governing reality.

🇮🇱
Ancient Synagogues

Found in mosaic floors of Galilean synagogues. Its geometry maps directly onto the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.

📜
Leonardo da Vinci

Filled pages of Codex Atlanticus with studies of the Flower. Derived proportions for the Vitruvian Man from its geometry.

🇹🇷
Turkish Mosques

Islamic artisans encoded the pattern into tilework and architectural ornamentation throughout the Ottoman Empire.

✦ How to Meditate with the Flower of Life

Method 1: Visual Absorption — Print or display a Flower of Life image. Sit before it. Soften your gaze — don't stare, but let your eyes relax into the pattern. After 2-3 minutes, close your eyes. The afterimage will appear on your inner screen. Hold it. Watch it shift and morph. You are now communing directly with the geometry of creation.

Method 2: Expansion Visualization — Close your eyes. See a single circle of light at the center of your chest. Watch a second circle emerge, overlapping the first. Then a third. Continue until seven circles form the Seed of Life. Then watch it expand into the full Flower. Feel each circle as a dimension of your being — physical, emotional, mental, spiritual — all interlocked, all interdependent.

Method 3: Drawing Meditation — Using a compass, draw the Flower of Life by hand. Begin with one circle. Place your compass point on the edge and draw the second. Continue this process until the full pattern emerges. The act of physically creating the geometry with your own hands is a meditation in itself — each circle placed with intention, each intersection a point of sacred awareness.
